Site Change and New Apartment!
Hi Everyone!
We are in a new site – Villa Hermosa, La Romana – and it´s great! I´ll tell you more about it in the next entry, but to sum it up we have more support and we´re ready to work! We just came back from a conference where we learned a lot about exactly how to start projects so I´m excited about it! The things I´m starting with are a Sala de Tarea which is a center that will focus on students who have failed third grade and need extra attention to help pass it. I´m also starting a girls volleyball team for ages 11-15. And Darryl and I are starting adult English classes for those who are 16 and up. These things should keep us busy for a while. Anyway, there are lots of pictures and a VIDEO of our new apartment! Keep in mind that this is the “before” video. I´ll post another one after we´ve finished decorating and stuff. ok, i’m extra excited about y’all having your own place! i can’t wait to see your “after” video because i know it’s going to be extra cozy and comfy. i’m saving money so i can check it out in person
glad to know you are well!! and tell darryl he’s gonna hafta teach me how to appear in other rooms like that. what a useful talent!!

oh and happy belated anniversary!!! i’ve gotta put dates on my calendar b/c i’ve been missing bday’s and everything… i almost think i should wish you happy bday now… i’ll try to get it on the day of tho….

The apartment looks great. You both look skinny in the pics and D in the video. I am glad that you are all moved in. You both look super happy. Missin’ you Friend. Talk to you soon. Your job sounds really great. I can’t wait to hear more about it. I hope that all is well and that you are happy!!!!!

I am so happy that you love the new site. This should be a learning experience for you, but you want to enjoy it and feel you are helping. I am so proud of you.

Hey Mrs. Childers!!!
You may not remember me but anyways i just wanted to check in and say hey. And guess what?? I GOT AN A+ in science, no joke. I won the award and everything. I can’t wait untill you come back i miss yea. You should have seen the cheer squad today, it was fAculty v.s. students game. They were awesome. The girl students won and the boy faculty won. well i hope all is well. loves
